Ok guys. Sent it back to CA and just got their report. This is what they did:
1. CLEANED AND INSPECTED RIFLE.
2. REPLACED BOLT AND HEADSPACED A NEW (SA STANDARD BOLT).
3. REPLACED STOCK BECAUSE THERE WAS A VOID AT THE REAR OF THE STOCK. (INSTALLED A NEW ELR SA BLK W/ GRY STOCK).
4. ASSEMBLED...
I haven’t looked closely at that. I will now, but I’ve had the same bolt in the rifle since I’ve owned it and I didn’t get swipe (a couple hundred factory rounds) until it came back with the new barrel.
Christensen called me this morning. They said they talked with their head gunsmith and that this is normal. Said I could send it back in to them to look at if I wanted to but said it was normal. Am I getting the run around?

So I finally got around to shooting this rifle. The marks on the bullet are gone however I’m still getting major ejector swipe regardless of load. From 39 to 42.5 gr (h4350) in half grain increments. Velocities from 2603 to 2817 (increased linearly). The swipe looked the same on the 39 load as...
Just tried this without a modified case. Same result. Uniform marks all the way around. I also tried intentionally scratching the bullet using the case by trying to mimick the bullet sliding out of the case. The case is not doing this.
