Remington Sendaro in 7mm Rem Mag?

A friend is gifting me a Rem Sendaro in 7mm REM MAG. Rifle is circa about 25 years ago, but is in like new condition. Looks to be well made with a nice stock. My question is this: what twist would these rifles have come from the factory with? Would like to shoot 180 Bergers but have a hunch...

    308 or 6.5CM

    No advantage to 6.5 C <= 300 yards. 6.5 C outperforms 308 past 300 yards due High BC bullets.

    6.5 something

I have extensive experience with: 6.5 C 6.5 SAUM 6.5 / 300 WBY 6.5 SAUM Ivy far the finest cartridge I’ve ever owned. For 61 Gr H1000 I push 140 Bergers 3080 FPS with 62 Gr Retumbo 3123 FPS. I push Berger 130 OTM Tactical Htlybrid 3350 FPS W 62 Gr Retumbo. It is an extremely efficient cartridge...

    MRAD vs MOA. Which one?

It’s Just a number. Shooter MOA: 1 MOA = 1” @ 100 Yds 1 MIL = 3.6” @ 100 yards Derived from an angular unit of measure. I shoot both. Ballistic program spits out my hold and on MF w MOAR reticle just dial the number (My friends rifle). All 6 of my current LR scopes have TREMOR2 or TREMOR3...

    Which ballistics app?

I own and play with many of them. The APP I recommend is the AB Mobile App. It costs around 29$ to purchase app, but it is the same program resident to the Kestrel 5700 with AB. The biggest advantage to the AB app (Applied Ballistics is the company owned by Brian Litz who is literally a former...

    Scope failed tall target test....🤬

Suggest this: 1) Mount Scope / rings snugged 2) Attach scope level to tube snugged 3) Set plum bob at 100 yards 4) Twist scope until vertical stadia plum in line with plum bob string snug rings tighter 5) Adjust scope level til bubble centers 6) Double Check reticle & scope level 7) Torque...

    Help me pick cartridge

I hunt primarily in MT (Where I’m from), and AZ (Coues) I’ve been into the Long Range Game since before it was cool, and, primarily because terrain often dictated a longer shot. I’m a huge fan of the various 6.5’s and have found them to be effective on game at distance. i have extensive...

Issues w/a Proof Research Barrel and a cold bore shot

One of my 28 Noslers is in a 7.5” Lilja Barrel. No accuracy issues whatsoever. Shooting 180 Bergers as main bullet. Does not like ELDx’s and will cause nullet failures. More spin drift but that is deterministic. .5 MOA gun all day long on 5 shot strings.

    What cartridge?

i have had excellent results with: 6.5 SAUM 300 WM 28 Nosler shooting 180-195Gr Bullets Ballistically my 28 blows the other two away past 1000. It is a devastatingly effective cartridge. I would look at 300 PRC shooting 215 or 230 Gr bullets also.

    Scope Levels- Why?

You...CAN’T CANT AND You do not live in a Paralax Free Universe. Words to live by in ELR game. it matters not that scope is level to rifle!! What matters is that YOUR RETICLE IS LEVEL to the WORLD. Human eye cannot detect CANT of 2 degrees. Cannot use horizon to level reticle when taking shot...

Does the 6.5PRC need a Muzzle Brake?

MB helps with calling own shots. Without seeing your shot you can’t adjust for misses which are common in LR shooting due wind (Assuming you and your “kit” including Ammo are dialed in). Wind calling is tough and it’s seldom the same between the target and you. By calling your shot you have...

Loaning a suppressor on private property?

If “THEY” know it could be a problem if the Stamp Owner is not there. But, then again....how are “THEY” going to know?? Could always just add to trust and give shooter a copy then remove when done.
