7mm-08 with 6.5staball powder or H100V and it runs the same from a lightweight 24” barrel as the 284 win or 280 rem or ai version and brass is easy to come by. Of note would be a 270 win with 1-7.5 or 1-8 twist barrel since you have a long action new heavy bullets in 270 make it worth while...

I shoot both 260 and 25-06 I would say in a Savage 260 would be better the 1-8 twist over the 25-06 1-10 makes some not all 25-06 rifles not as accurate with bullets over 100 grain. Now if the barrel length on the 260 is less than 22” velocity will suffer. All that being said hands down 7mm-08...

I know it’s not popular but why not just a 270 Winchester but use 1 in 8 twist rate. You know the 270 done right! Same goes for 25-06

Anyone have some 7mm Dakota brass they would like to sell, possible trade I have some 6.5-284 brass, many others but list would be long.

I have one box e-tip 150 7mm if your interested, I bought them saw the little note inside said only load to 1/2 nosler load data, became uninterested! All factory winchesters loaded ammo are coated, these are not. If your interested let me know? Mike
