Thrash a nice wood stock hunting?

I would use this method, even though it's a guitar, the wood stock will repair the same.

Thrash a nice wood stock hunting?

My dad taught me that a firearm is a precision instrument and treated as such. When I hunt with one of my walnut stocked rifles, or shotguns I transport it in its case and I take extra care to avoid dings and scrapes. Sometimes they happen anyway, but nothing damaging, just character marks. It...

    Stocky’s Rem 700 SA, VG2, carbon fiber

My experience with Stocky's Stocks is that it will fit, out of the box, but you'll need an M5 bottom metal, which most likely will need fitting to the stock. You'll also need new magazines.

    WTB Browning BAR Stock.

Is there any way to glue and clamp it? Tightbond and a clamp can be awesome for wood splits.

New player in the contoured barrel blank market: Faxon

Very interesting and nice performance, in a already saturated market space. More, or less the same as 6x45AI, which runs at a higher pressure and gives equivalent performance with a few less grains of powder. Looks like they'll be producing ammo, so no fire-forming. I wish the brass would...

Opening up a BDL inlet to M5

The proper way is to open up the smaller BDL inlet to M5 specs, using an end mill. You may find someone doing it with a Dremel, or similar tool, online, but many stock get butchered that way.

    Subsonic Bullets

Hornady's 255gr Sub-X for 7.62x39, over 12gr CFE-BLK have worked out very well for me, as far as being quiet, suppressed. I'll test out expansion, soon, on hogs that are rooting up my property.

    Gordon’s reloading tool

Reloading/hand loading requires attention to detail, or the consequences can be fatal. GRT has been good for me. I don't chronograph, so I can't confirm velocity accuracy. GRT does seem to be very close when compared to other manufacturer's load data for muzzle velocity. I've successfully used...

    280AI 195 Berger EOL & N560 Pressure Concern

My GRT is showing 195s and 57.8gr of N560 is over pressure at 65,058psi. 56gr looks to be a better starting load.
