I have one a year built - 4-6 mos is about the norm in my experience. At the moment, i am working on a tactical rifle in .284 Win for lots of trigger time (leaving my 284. win hunting rifle alone). My bighorn long action just came in - 5 weeks. My Brux will arrive in 2 weeks - 7 weeks total...

All good suggestions. Just make sure you mount it properly for long range shooting - critical. I have developed a tool to make sure that your rifle is level - perfectly - prior to aligning your reticle to a plum line. Many people (myself included) have to many times aligned my reticle nicely...

127gr LRX 3050 fps.

I have had really good luck with the Barnes LRX bullets. However at 25 yards any bullets would be dicey at that velocity. At 300 yards my last Mule Deer did not take one step after being double lunged. It put him down in a hurry and very humanely.

This is a solid way for longrangers to guarantee rifle/scope alignment. Brian Litz has some outstanding data on page 93 of his book regarding the importance of scope alignment for long range shooting. AcurC Level - YouTube
