Hunting with my daughter opening morning in North Texas. Not a long shot at 165 yards but a well placed 143 ELD-X did the job. Nice heavy whitetail. We are all blessed to be able to enjoy our shooting and hunting passion. Luckily my daughter will carry on this family tradition.

I have loaded the Hornady flex tips in both my Marlin and Henry. They shoot OK but not as good as the standard cup and core bullets in my two rifles. If you are aiming to extend your distance a little they would work OK but I always choose accuracy over velocity.

I run the TriggerTech Diamond in my LR-308. It has been very reliable in my 6.5 Creedmoor AR. I use TriggerTech Specials in my hunting bolt actions and Jewell triggers in all competition bolt rifles.
