What’s your five? 5 Calibers to do it all...

I’m going to go along the lines of including rimfire, shotgun, and handgun. I would pick 22LR, 12ga, 9mm, 6.5PRC, and 416 Barrett

Best FFP scope for the buck?

Wait and get the new Mark 3 HD from Leupold when it’s available. I’m sure it’s the replacement for the VX3i LRP but with HD glass and different turrets

    SOLD/EXPIRED CCI 450

You’re part of the problem of why there are no reloading components. You should be ashamed.

What binoculars and power are you all using for hunting and scouting in open country

I’m using the Leupold BX-5 Santiam HD 12x50s. I really like them but they do come in a bit over a thousand at $1200. They are very comfortable to look through and have superb low light performance.

    Best magnification for a scope

My rule of thumb is if you want a scope that can do everything look for 2-4 (maybe 5) power on the low end and anywhere from 18-25 on the high end. I will say this, I really like 20 power for sighting in because no matter the caliber you can see the holes very well and never have to leave the bench.

Leupold Scopes...Do you trust them today?

Bud, I said they test them periodically throughout production. Every model they make has to pass that test before it goes into production and then thought production they test samples to verify they are maintaining quality control on their optics. Also, the gun was made to replicate the recoil...

Hodgdon is getting on my last nerve

Quite simply, reloaders are last on the list for getting powder because the military gets first dibs on the powders and the use a crap ton. So, reloaders get the scraps basically.

Leupold Scopes...Do you trust them today?

Leupold makes some of the toughest scopes on the market. The Mark 5HD is tough as nails and will track excellently. Even their cheap VX-Freedoms are awesome scopes and zeroing them is a breeze so I would guess the tracking is pretty true. Look up their punisher test. It simulates recoil...

    300 WSM Reloader 26 180gr Bullets

Does anyone have load data for a 300 WSM and 180gr bullets using RL26 for powder? I'm debating on working up a load for them depending on what other people's results are like. If you could post velocities with your results and barrel lengths that would be great!

Loaning a suppressor on private property?

You must be in control and supervising the use of the suppressor at all times. Most interpretations of this say that means the individual using your suppressor must be within ear shot of you so that you can tell them what and what not to do with the suppressor. So unless they are on your trust...
