Thanks guys I have been pretty set on the 6.5 for a while but I had given thought to the 260 sometimes "adult" ;) decisions stink.

I've tried to find the answer but can't can you still use the 308 bolt for shooting the the 6.5 Creedmoor or do you have to buy a new one. Anyone with insight I thank you so much.

ok im not sure why noone can even respond to this but im open to offers if you would like a great rifle scope.

I have two Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40 LR/T with illuminated tactical milling reticles riflescopes for sale one has just been refinished the other will get the same treatment but is in better external condition. Both of these scopes have some external battlescars but they function flawlessly...

I'm just tossing out a guess but the 6.5 grendel possibly could be your mystery round, (grendel) being a mythical monster from Viking lore . Just a guess.

I have in the past owned 308 win. and 223 rem. rifles trental the 6.5 was what I was wanting it would be my first 6.5 how would you rate it vs. the 308? Recoil, and such.

Really good stuff , at the risk of sounding like a moron does anyone know were i could just buy a savage action i know they offer the target actions but i am not sure if i want something in stainless or with that light of a trigger id like to get a 10 fp action or matte 12 target/ varmint...
