    Best lightweight rear shooting bag

My son using a WeiBad TACKPAD on top of his pack for front and has a PumpPillow for the rear support. Both are light and make great sitting pads for glassing. BTW he nailed the shot at a nice Coues buck at 380yds.

    6.5mm - 25cal = .007"

Remington has a history of flopping with their cartridge design. 6mm & 280 being prime examples. With a little more forethought the 260 would have been well intrenched and the 6.5C would still be a cartridge for matches only.

    100% Hits to 600 Yards?

Have a range where we can shoot steel at 328, 420 and 546 yards, when I go for cold bore first shot hits on the 8" plate the hit percentage at 420 is high, hits at 546 not near as good. I'm with you.

    100% Hits to 600 Yards?

With good dope and wind call in steady wind close to 70% ???. My rifle will do it, this target would be 2/5 hits on the left shoulder.

What do you guys think of this???????

agree, a milk jug not easy to range at 350yds and was not possible to range the ground around the base of the stands.

What do you guys think of this???????

BackFire is an ok guy. I find his content ok but no great shakes, also never seen him boast. Way more watchable than "the real gunsmith". This episode was interesting because I thought the shooter would do better than 50% hits out to 400 yards, was blown away how bad it went.

    Shooting in the West Valley

Just get a few friends and shoot the 1000 yard practice sessions to check your rifle and dial ups. I have gone will a friend that shoots the practices regularly. Kinda fun to workout my 270 out using his electronic target at 1000.

    Shooting in the West Valley

The Golden Spike Shooting Range at the N end of the Great Salt Lake ran a similar match. That match got me started shooting to longer distances, great fun.

Explain How 7 PRC Has Tighter Tolerances VS 7 MM Rem Mag, without bashing any company

Awesome !!! Who makes rifles and ammo for this great cartridge ???. In my personal view a cartridge that launches a long for caliber bullet say 160 for .277, 190 for .308 or 170 for 7mm at about 2950-3000 fps MV is IDEAL. I say ideal because with this class of bullets at this velocity you get...

Explain How 7 PRC Has Tighter Tolerances VS 7 MM Rem Mag, without bashing any company

The 7mm RM is a cartridge from another age, designed with the unnecessary affectation of a belt and a ridiculously short neck. Conceived when short for caliber bullets were used and MV and point blank range were thought the goal. The PRC leapfrogs all those antiquated attributes and goes with...
