Sierra Matchking or Barnes TSX? Why?

Simple choice for me. In respect for the game I harvest I use a bullet designed for the purpose. For target shooting, any bullet will do. I also use a broadhead for deer and a target point for spots on paper.

    New scale

I think calling RCBS would be worth while. They can probably repair it. I've always been very pleased with their customer support. I can also recommend the Chargemaster Lite if you want to go with electronic powder measure. Very happy with mine. I am of the camp that a beam scale is still a must...

    RCBS CHARGEMASTER LITE YOUR THOUGHTS?

Have used mine for 2 years or so now and think it's great. If I would just always remember to close the drain before pouring powder in the hopper I would enjoy it even more.

    Remington 700 trigger

I have one with a TriggerTech Primary which is wonderful. I also have a couple that just have the replacement spring available from Ernie the Gunsmith and they are very good for very little money. You might just try that first to see what you think.

Which neck turning systems does everyone prefer ?

I used to use the RCBS neck turner which worked very well but was very tedious. Went to the Hornady Lock "n Load Neck Turn tool and much better for me. Both gave me the same end result but a more pleasurable experience with the Hornady tool.

    Powder or primer degradation

I don't know about the 43 Winchester but the original 22 Hornet bore diameter was smaller than they are now. Don't know when the change was made either. Perhaps something to check out and then maybe have to use a smaller diameter bullet in that gun. I had a Uberti single shot that could not...

    Teslong Borescope

The instructions will tell you of a couple apps. One is 'Endoscope Camera' and one 'USB Camera' unless they've changed. The one I have that started automatically when I plugged the camera into the phone is called 'OTG Camera'. OTG Camera doesn't record or snap stills though I think. The others...

    Teslong Borescope

I mistakenly called my first version of my Telslong a Bluetooth version. Sorry, It is USB. Used it today with a new phone and it the camera lit right up as soon as I plugged it into phone so I can't say now that it is any less easy to use than the WiFi one. Wasn't that easy to start with my much...

    Teslong Borescope

I have the USB version and the newer WiFi version. They are both great but the newer WiFi version and the app that you use with it was easier to use for me. I really like that they are long enough to go the entire barrel length too. The view is crystal clear. Do I need a borescope? Didn't think...

Is the rcbs chargemaster lite good enough?

I think you would be very happy with it. I am with mine. It trickles as good as I can by hand when approaching final weight and when I check it with another electronic and a balance scale it checks out the same. Always turn it on long before using, level and calibrate and get loading. Not fast...

    neck turning tool ?

I used the RCBS one for a few years and I was happy with how it worked but arthritic hands suffered. When Hornady came out with theirs I jumped on a sale price. Really enjoy using it. Powered by my drill it is an easy to use tool that does the same job. Sold my RCBS. I don't do a lot of neck...

Stuck Case after using Stainless Media

6.5 Guys posted a youtube video 4 years ago on case cleaning and mentioned that the stainless steel pin method got their pistol cases too clean, causing them to stick in carbide die. Said a little carbon on the cases helps to lube them. Might relate to rifle cases too.

    Looking for a new scale

Without breaking the bank it is hard to do better than a good balance beam scale from Redding, RCBS or others. Always ready, no batteries or electricity and no warm up. I have 2 electronic scales. One is the RCBS Chargemaster Lite which dispenses powder and I like it. The other is a Lyman that...
