You make a good point about the 250 Sav, but Lapua vs Rem. brass could make the differance. Then again there are thoes that arn't sold on the small flash hole.

I have been thinking about a 25x47 Lapua (not improved). I would shoot 85 to 100 grain bullets out of a 23 inch # 2 contour barell. I'm not sure if I would go 1-12 or 1-14 twist, don't need the 1-10 for 100 grain or less bullets. I'm thinking I may try the Sako 85 short action (long enough for...
