That's funny. Part of my stuff that I just bought is a 260 Custom Sako. I originally bought the Sako 85 338 to rebarrel to 260 then couldn't after it performed so well.

I have that exact rifle in SS Synthetic. It has a 2-7 Kahles TDS on it and it is my grab and go rifle. If I hadn't just bought too much stuff, I'd seriously consider that piece of awesome. Shoots 200 Grain Box Stock Fusions really well and puts down stuff nicely.

I bought Zen Rays a few years ago when you had to get them from ZR directly. Mine are the ED or ED2's. They are terrific. Even my son's cheaper pair of Vistas are not too shabby.

Talleys are what I used on my Sakos. I sold the leupolds that came with one of them They weren't very solid appearing to me.

Re: 260 Remington Yes no doubt. I was being humerous and self depraving because I like it and want it too much. I have to be cautious financially with all of the optics and gas gun stuff I have bought lately. Very nice rifle.

Re: 260 Remington I could pretty much ruin that guaranteed. I have a way of connecting two or three shots then pulling one, then pushing one. Then I settle back down. I am so good at that, it is spooky! Thank god I am on a spending freeze, well sort of anyway. I like this rifle.

2506, Edit your post and take most the private stuff out of it, then copy it to the PM. Not a lot of action on here on a Saturday night so you could go semi private anyway. We have all done the same mistake before somewhere.

Not that I have seen. Palmetto has been selling their uppers without BCG's for over two months so it is a real issue. I am sure their are plenty of players tooling up to fix it, I would be.
