In most sites, there are moderators assigned to monitor forums. That is not the case here; we have been entrusted or expected to self-monitor/self-moderate ourselves - this might be asking too much for most. Again, with or without moderators, civility and respect is the key.

I don't take anything as directed directly at me.I'm just stating as someone else mentioned it my experiences what I noticed and what I dislike about pretty much anything although it is difficult occasionally I try not to take anything personally.

way too many treads have been shut down here. some for no apparent reason and some just got out of control. some here use the same tactics used by the news media and social media operations, just scream louder, call more names, show total disrespect to shut down treads that they don't like or view as competition. personally, the repeat offenders should be removed and banned from the tread not the total removal of the tread because when you get through the trash there is still good info that others are being deprived of.
just my opinion but removing content or the ignore button are what the media is doing to us every day and will be the destruction of a once great nation. if there is a username you don't like just skip it but remember every squirl finds a nut sometime

There was an annual contest at the Griffiths University, Australia, calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term.
This year's term was "political correctness"

After seeing the amount of ignorance and rage on the internet I can't say I'm surprised or upset by moderation of a privately held forum.
So many people have completely lost the ability to think objectively or argue rationally.

It's hard not get to mad at what's going on in this world. People and countries are trying all the time to impose on other countries or people.
This is how I close out my emails: If U Hate Trump after this 24 month Sh**show. Your commitment to Stupidity is impressive.
I spent a year in combat in Vietnam in 1969-70. I came back home with being in one piece. Mind petty straight. I watched others that didn't fair well after getting back.
We were told peace with honor, Only to watch So. Vietnam to fall. I know it was a long fight, and over 58,000 die, with 55,000+ KIA's. (Killed In Action) Regan and the first Bush did a good job in my estimation, but after that it slipped again. Clinton, 2nd Bush and
Obama didn't get anywhere in 8yrs each. Continue to dig us in.
Trump was pulling us out, and did the ISIS in, in 9 months. Obama said it couldn't be done. Then their Biden. Knowing full well that he has been wrong for 50yrs. Voted in. The Press was as crooked as the day is long. The press moral compass is so far off, I am surprised they can find the door to go home. Instead of printing the truth. It's showing up more and more just how much the press has lied.
If this country doesn't wake up and I am not say woke either. This country is done. Stick a fork in it.
I am concerned about my kids and grandkids, I am not leaving them much in away of a country behind. Asset a different story.
You can still get ahead, but it's hard work and not spending everything you get and more you don't have. You don't have to have a college education, but you have to have the drive to get there. To ask question and listen too. I have about a straight "D" high school diploma. That's it. Being dyslexia doesn't help a bit, but the drive makes up for it.
Again it's hard not to get mad!
Here the other week there was a person asking question. He had just signed up. They were kicting his butt. I felt it was wrong, and said so. He didn't know. This a place where you can learn a lot, just follow and read. Try it and see if it works.
AFTER ALL MINE IS BETTER THAN YOUR!
