Growing up, when ever someone commented to my mother, "So, you have 3 boys?"I remember this discussion. I even had similar rules for my son when he went to pick up a girl at her house!

True story
So I have three daughters, and after the oldest started dating, I realized there needed to ground rules. Posted on my front, the rules were required reading. In spite of my efforts, 2 boys thought I was joking....they were hunted down....word spread quickly after that.....My rules. (All Dads...www.longrangehunting.com
...and I have two shirts like that....
Growing up, when ever someone commented to my mother, "So, you have 3 boys?"
"No, I have 3 gentlemen" while giving us that Mom stare that would cut through steel...
Was actually posted on my front door. Funny thing, some boys never asked for a second date. When my oldest turned 21, a bunch of her friends came to my house to take her out to celebrate. One boy said they were going to get her sloppy drunk. This is simply AWESOME, hilarious and true at the same time. You just made me want to have a daughter
Not stealing anything. I would consider it to be an honor, sir. And I hope she does too.So true. Boys need to be taught to be gentleman. Now all I see is women opening their car doors or walking behind the man in to a restaurant. I can't stand it.
A couple of years ago, maybe less, I was at my sister-in-laws house, and this kid honks on the horn for my goddaughter to go out. I stopped her and said, where are you going? She said he is here to pick me up, I asked who is, she said my boyfriend, and I said, well he hasn't knocked on the door.
My sister in law looked at me as my godaughter looked at her, I then looked at my goddaughter and said, if that boy doesn't knock on this door, you aren't going anywhere with him. After that thatckid always knocked on the door.
Her dad isn't around and fortunately my sister in law has given me some room to talk to her kids when it comes to advise from a male figure.
She lives in a different town and just finished high school. Got her first job and its in our town, and she asked to move in with us while she settles in. Yesterday I painted and worked on her new room, and it's ready for her to move in. I think I might steal those rules from you while she lives in our home.
With their own lives if need be.We live in an era of sin & depravity and parents have a responsibility to guide and protect their children. Teach their sons to respect women & protect their daughters from harm.
Yea, but I don't swing that way.My old saying was. "What ever you do to my daughter I will do to you"
