Draw results are in and I didn't draw my elk area for bulls. Got a second tag for a cow, but looks like it is back to general elk hunting for me this year.

The general areas would be a lot more fun with a wolf tag and griz tag in hand. The wolves have really messed up a general area I have hunter for over 13 years.

Where are you hunting in H? I hunt in Bondurant every year above timberline. I always look forward to this hunt and hopefully the winter didn't take to hard a toll on the big mulies.

I don't know exactly as it is a guided hunt. I'll let you know when I find out. I want to look at the land on Google Earth before the hunt.

You will probably be hunting within 30 miles of where I hunt, but there is a lot of country in there. My hunting area is about 30 miles from Pinedale. When does your season open? Mine opens Sept. 15th

Out of Bondurant, Wy. Go west along river. Been there good area should be a good hunt probally be around Roosevelt Meadows or in deeper around Sept 15th is when I am guessing when you are going.
