Which 6.5 caliber ??? need your experiences.

3000 + a little is doable with the 140s in a 6.5-284, but you'll probably need a 28" barrel minimum plus it will be a little tough on the brass depending on how much + your after.

Most find their best accuracy between 2900-3000, not all, but most.

I went through the same dilemma last year, I went with the 6.5 Gibbs, though its a lil more work to make cases, I can put the 140's downrange at 3250-3300 fps. am still tweaking the load for accuracy but things look promising.

Thanks Ridge Runner, that sounds like a great round. What barrel length are you using, and what load/bullets? Are you using this for hunting? I looked at this round in Cartridges of the World, and thought that it looked very promising. I noticed that Midway shooters supplies offers this as a formed case . How is this for loading? Any difficulty with the short neck?
