Please share info on the vest & the Rifle Pack.

The vest is a kuiu first edition guide jacket. I wore in a few times but it was too tight in the sleeves. I started cutting the sleeves to fit and my daughter sewed the arm pockets with binding. Removed hood too. This was before they were selling vests...

The pack is a EXO 2000. I have the barrel tucked in the crossed straps meant for a pad, then the two exterior straps that are on the pack just looped around in front of the scope mount and rear mount and bolt area. Very simple and works perfectly. Keeps weight centered and stock low for dragging or bushwhacking fun.

So just to finish off my year I shot this brute with muzzleloader Monday. Dressed 210 on scale and boy is he battle scarred in his face and neck. His one ear is also mangled a bit. Best year I've had in longgggg time. Shot 9 pt opening day MI, 8 pt opening day IN and finished with 9 pt MI muzzleloader.

My son says it is payback for having my elk/mule trip snowed out this year. If so, I'll take that!

My wife acted as my spotter on this Idaho bull elk. Ruger Predator in 6.5CM, 143gr Eldx, 190 yards right in the boiler, bull only went 25 yards. It has a funky left antler that I didn't notice at first.

She had a chance a several bulls in the exact same spot the next morning, but she couldn't pull the trigger...she is scared of the "bang." It was a a ton of fun though!

Messing around with photo software and put this together of the bucks we killed this year. Best year we have had in lonngggg time. I know I have posted up but not with son's as well so thought this would be nice way to put up on wall for sure. The one in middle scored 156 7/8 and it is going on wall for certain since my son and his wife gave the mount cost to me for Christmas!
