Steel ADL style trigger guard, smaller front screw typical of the 700 ADL style actions, finish is nice and smooth. It's plenty heavy duty.

I just don't remember the 700 ADL style being steel, maybe a 600/660/673?

It's a after market 700 ADL guard, 20 plus years ago there were a small handful of different manufacturers,

My floor plate on a Remington 600 doesn't look anything like that

Definitely not from the Rem 600/660. Looks to me like an older aftermarket 700 Adl. I have a custom shop rifle that wears a Darrel Holland Adl trigger guard but it is aluminum and has only the rear screw showing as the stock to action screw is hidden underneath the trigger guard. I have the 700 factory Adl guard somewhere I will see if I can find it to compare. Cheers, Jason
