I have a VXIII 3.5-10x40 with custom shop M1 turrets currently. I have the opportunity to 'upgrade' to an IOR 2.5-10x42 FFP with lit MP8 reticle and mil adjustments for a reasonable price.
Is it worth doing? Am I going to see a noticable improvement? Is the IOR really as fugly as it looks in the pictures? I have no opportunity to look through the scope before I buy, no experience with IOR, and am concerned about warrantee backup if it fails.
The magnification etc are suitable for my purposes.
