Talk to me about small rifle primer based 6mm cartridges...

I don't own any 6s but I have some Lapua brass in 6.5 creed, 6.5x284 Norma and 284 that use small primers. They are consistent and in my experience produce smaller SD and ES numbers. Velocity is not to much different than those with standard LRPs. I still have a brick of SRPs, which reminds me I need to load some more 6.5x284 Norma.🙂
One reason for this build is primer availability. SRP's stacked up like cordwood around here...
 
Same reason I went that route. Honestly I've never had srp issues in cold weather down to 20* below but won't go so far as to discount someone else's experience. When it's that cold I always keep my loose rounds or magazines in a pocket so I'm guessing they are quite a few degrees warmer.
