I have a Gunwerks Magnus 7-LRM with the older McMillan stock. I like the new Clymr stock better - esp with the integrated pic rail. Was hoping to gain some weight savings as well for mountain elk hunting. Gunwerks rep was pushing for the new Magnus rather than the Clymr since I got the 24" Proof barrel. He thinks the barrel will look too long in a Clymr.
I'd like to hear from fellas who have fitted a Clymr to a 24" barrel (braked). Any pics would be much appreciated... Also, any experience with the rigidity, shooting performance and handling, etc.? I'm not a brand nut - just looking for feedback within the requested parameters. Thanks
