Can anyboby outthere give me any useful advise on choosing between a Stiller Predator and a Lawton 7000 action? Both about the same price. Both **** fine actions. Thanks for any input.

From a couple people that I've talked to that hjave built on both actions the Lawton is a bit tighter and better built than the Predator.
I've never actualy chucked either one up and done any compairing but from comments I've heard from two gun builders I would choose the Lawton.

hi

i have had 4 predators and was not impressed by them,
the lake of bolt fluting and the finish of the bolts was not to my liking.

i have now ordered 6 Lawton's on the strength of Kirby's report on them. but have not received them yet.
but for the price they are both good actions, and i suppose it is down to personal preference

both are good actions, but I think the advantage on the smaller Lawtons is that they come with extended bolt, and either port or even dual port.

The Stiller new 338 lapua action looks like a great action too.
