starting loads for 300rum with 240 SMK??

i'm just starting with the long range shooting and bought a 300 rum custom rifle . has a 30 inch stainless barrel with muzzle brake and an h-s precision stock, it has a 1-10 twist. wondering what would be a good starting load?
what velocities should i push a 240 to get it to stabilize in a 1-10??

I ran the 300 Ultra Mag on Quick Load V 3.4 IMR 7828 seem to be a good powder, a starting load 77.0 grs 2831 fps @ 52,227 psi and a max load of 83.0 grs 3019 @ 65,207 psi out of a 30 inch barrel.
