Oh I I would like to get some soft jaws for my bench vise how do you guys go about this? It's just a Wilton benchvise bolted down to my work bench in the garage.

I used 1/2" soft pine for each side and covered with thin leather I got from upholstery shop scraps. Put a couple of strong round magnets in set in wood, so I can take them off when needed. About $20 total.

I saw this set up in WTO shop. Works perfectly.

Make your own out of copper stock- I have been wanting to do this for a while. Clough42 on YouTube did it for his Wilton, and I've been thinking about doing the same, but my old, low-end vice is worn out and I need a new, better one like a Wilton. so I'll probably wait until I get that before making soft jaws out of copper.
