Sendero barrel vs. custom barrels... worth the upgrade $ ??

I am thinking about buying a slightly used older Sendero and I found this older thread.

This kind of thread is the reason I read LRH and I thought I would bump it up. Much great wisdom here. This goes back to 2008.

Being perfectly honest, I have no idea how good factory Sendero barrels are. How much better (if any) are custom barrels (e.g. Lilja, Krieger, etc) than the stock barrels that come on the Senderos? Is it worth the extra money to take off that brand new Sendero factory barrel and put on a custom?
