I have a Sako 75 in 243, great rifle. The 'Varmint' 85 in 308 you speak of sounds a little heavy for extended carry, if hunting. From the bench I think it would be great. The quality I think would be excellent, if you were to get it.

Intended use and $$$ available would be important factors. I was thinking about a Sako varmint in 204 Ruger for prairie dogging. So far I've kept that desire on the back burner.

No one has experienced with this rifle?

I have it in .260 Rem. Excellent out of the box quality, function and accuracy. Shoots better than 0.5 MOA with the Lapua Scenar 123gr and Hornady A-Max 140gr. Only used out to 300 metres so far. Hoping to get out to 600 metres, just have to find a range.

Cheers
