site says i shoud make a post, so ill post this...
i was recently given a ruger m77 30-06. the safety was broke and they had fiddled with it years ago. it sat in a corner till recently. original "fiddler" has passed on, and now i need a part. it was given to me with a timney trigger (not in the gun, in a box) and i guess they thought that would fix it. it is missing the safety shaft assembly and little safety spring. ive installed the trigger and set it up, but i dont want to do much hunting without a working safety. where can i find those 2 parts? i looked on gunbroker, but no one is parting one out on there. gunshow? seems like i only hear about the local gunshows after they happen. anybody on here got one in a box of stuff?
