Rifle in .223 cal for LR practice

I'd never waste time going the 223ai. Route. Way too much work for little gain. 3-5%increase of charge weight on a mid 20 grain charge isn't worth the effort of fire sizing cases plus the smith work. Jmo

None of my .223rem's have ever shot as well as my .223AI's. Ever.

People tend to focus on velocity too much. There are many other benefits to improved cases.

This is my plinker / trainer HOWA 223r 24 inch 1 in 8 MDT Oryx chassis element scope everything is relatively cheap this rifle will shoot 5" at 750 when I get the wind right with 75g eldm and varget.

I got less than a grand in a factory gun that drops sub moa 10 shot groups like 3rd period French. That's at 3340fps with 52 grain match bullets.it's paid for itself in fur twice over

Unfortunately no I don't have the machinery available to me now .
