I did put this in the Handgun Hunting subforum first.

Remington has announced a new pistol but in a chassis:

Remington Introduces the Model 700 Chassis Pistol
This new hunting bolt action pistol comes chambered in .308, .223, or 300BLK.

Many of us with an interest in LR pistol shooting have been doing this for quite some time. Fast, easily accomplished but not necessarily cheap.

Many of the old XP 100's had problems with the stock, trigger linkage
and the vented rib, but it looks like at least they addressed these problems.

This will hopefully solve these problems. One of the most accurate pistols I have was built on the XP action, but that's where the similarity
ends. With a new stock, new barrel (Without a vented rib and a modified trigger extension, It is unbelievably accurate.

Interested to see how it performs.

Thanks
