Browning A Bolt, Short Action, 7mm SAUM. Squared, Bolt faced, and Lapped. McGowan 26" Stainless #4 couture, 1-8 twist. Browning Target stock from GB auction. First time out, second group was 0.4" with Barnes 160 TSX and 65 grains of Magpro. Fast moving storm chased me off the range. May need to wait 'till Spring to wring out the rest of it's likes and dislikes. But so far I pretty happy with it. I know I still need better glass, but so far the build cost is under $1000.

This rifle likes TSX because I can jump them 0.035". My mag box is 2.84", the lands are at 2.993. I've ordered some Berger 168 VLD to see if I can jump them too. gun)

Very nice looking rig...sounds like a real shooter.

Nice rifle. Who built it for you?

Thanks MN Hunter, Here in Denver we have the Gunsmith school. The students have some very talented machinists and gunsmiths to train them and help with their projects. All of this work was very affordable for me. Being an unemployed electrician, I am almost always looking for the best bang for the buck. I really don't know who was in charge of the project but Ross Argobrein might have had something to do with it.

Thanks for the porn! We need more here. Nice rig! Bet you are still smiling after a .4 group first time to the range. AHHHHH, nothing better than that!

Good luck with the Bergers. I have found good accuracy and velocity jumping the Bergers in 300 WSM, 7mmRM, and .264WM. Hope you do to.

What the heck is this talk about waiting until spring to shoot it again? Talk like that will get your Man card revoked. Come on, Jesus hates a *****. Man up and give us some more range reports.

Yes, I can talk alot of smack here in cold southern AZ. :D
