RCBS Summit press...??

I have one and use it for the 375 CheyTac.

All presses have some things that are "features" that don't work for you.

The primer catcher doesn't work for me.
With 1 1/4" dies the nuts hit the die.

1) Turn the bolts around so the socket heads are inside and the nuts are on the outside,
2) Grease grease grease.
3) Tune the parallel load/slop adjustment.
4) Grease grease grease.

FWIW I have:
Lyman turret - my main press
2 Pacific C - various odd tasks like primer pocket swagging.
RCBS RS - pullet pointing
Forster - I have not used it yet
Dillon 650XL
Lee Pro 1000 (38 Super)

I think the big selling point is the ability to mount it further back on the bench = nothing hanging over the edge.

You can do that.

The big column should be rigid. It has no problem with the CheyTac.

I used it for some case forming and that worked really well.
