Try a nonmagnum primer next time. Magnum primers usually work good in a 270 with slow powder but not a near max charge.

Finally, got a day off from college to do some shooting. Tried a different batch of brass, and did not have this problem. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Must have been some bad brass. Looks like you were right green788. I am relieved, it really had me worried. Again thanks for the help guys.
