Nick was really impressed with our bullet. We are absolutely blown away by the size of this Alaskan Coastal Bear. It measured in at 9'6" with a 27" skull. The bear was shot at 366 yards using a custom-built Matt Stewart 33 Nosler rifle. The first shot of the 267gr Hammer HHT™ hit the bear square in the shoulder. Nick said it flipped on its back. He then sent 2 more rounds "because no one wants to chase a 9-foot bear!" The bear went 15 yards and lodged against an Alder tree. Upon recovery, one of the bullets hit the heart, and the other 2 shots were in the vitals.
Congratulations on an awesome bear, and thanks for sharing your hunt.
