Well, I'll jump into the fray. I've got both brands of scopes mentioned (as well as others) and I got to say, the husky has treated me well so far. Just started using them last year and I am happy so far. I have several Leupys that I have had to have fixed---mainly with tracking issues. The new husky 16x has my interest.

Good luck and let me know how you make out if you do go that route.

Talked to the Leupold Custom Shop yesterday, and there quote for an M1 elevation turret, and a standard CDS windage turret installed, was $180.

I have both scopes. Lets just say all my scopes will be husky's from here on out. The Leupolds are nice but I have had the same issues as mentioned earlier with turret graduation and retracting back to zero. Also 1/4 moa click values not being 1/4 moa. This is a pain in the ***. Huskemaws are solid!
