New Do-All Rifle Build - 7mm Sherman Max

You do any load workup? I just formed 150pcs of brass, going to do a pressure test with N570 and 180s in the next few days.

Sadly no......100 - 300lb Bluefin Tuna have infiltrated our waters and that is the only thing on my mind right now.....best friend just bought a new boat, so will be fishing most of my free time since my elk hunt is late in Dec/Jan this year, so lots of time yet to shoot.

So f'n jealous........I'd rather catch big tuna than shoot any day!

Ok, finally made it to the range for my initial barrel break-in and to fire form brass. Didn't want to waste my N570, so opted to use some IMR7977 to fire form 50 pieces of ADG virgin brass. I bit the bullet and used 180 gr VLD Hunting bullets.....kind of a waste, but whatever. Slow go because I cleaned after each of the first 5 shots. Great barrel, no copper fouling and easy to clean. Barrel is very accurate, punching these two 3-shot groups at 100yrds, and utilizing very little effort while fire forming brass. Very encouraged for when I actually shoot for groups w/ N570 in the near future.
