Hi, I'm new here and am hoping to find out some info on a Mountain Rifles Inc. chambered 300 Weatherby. It doesn't have any manufacturers markings on it so I figure it must have been a full custom? I sort of inherited it from the family of a good friend that passed away a few years ago. I know that he got it directly from M.R. in Palmer AK. I have the original receipt dated 1/1997.
If anyone might have some info on these rifles I would sure appreciate it. It has the fiberglass stock with what appears to be a Zolotone type specked finish. thanks in advance, John
