Was at a pawn shop today and found this rifle in 30-06, it is a late 60s early 70s bolt action that looks just like a Savage action with barrel nut . But the odd thing is the barrel nut is smooth no notches . The gun is in great shape except when you go to lock up the bolt about 2/3 of the way down it gets very stiff . I looked at the bolt lugs and they are dirty and am wondering if it is dirt and oil that may be causing the stiff bolt lockup . The rifle is a Revelation , this is the only marking I can find of what it was and I have heard about some Savages with a smooth barrel nut but it has one notch on the very bottom ? Any ideas , opinions or info about this rifle would really help . The price is almost to good to pass up !!! Thanks
