Model 70 with detachable mag

I have a Model 70 long action with a detachable mag that I would to take the cheap plastic stock off of. I was going to put a Boyd's At-One on it for my boy, but when I called they said they don't make one for the detachable mag. Does anyone know if the hinged floor plate is different than the detachable mag? I am looking at spending about $200 for a different stock.
