Mark V or Sako

I use both Weatherby's and Sako's and they seem interesting. I've got a lightweight Sako out there I'm getting reports of 3" groups at over 600 yards with a #1 contour on it with a low power scope on it.

Here it is in the white. I do shoot better with my LRH cap on. :)

It's a 7-08AI. Here is how it shot with unfireformed random load for proof test.

I shot a stock wby 340 for 20+ elk out to 850.Put a brake on it.It took 2 bears this spring,my kid uses it now.My bud has a Sako Finnlight 300 win, stock,it cracks rocks reliable at 1000.

Does any one build or use a Mark V or Sako for long Range.

Both make fine long range rifles.

I use the Mark 5 on the bigger cases with case heads larger than .580 because of the strength
and size of the bolt and the action of the MK 5.

Use the Sako on the .540 case heads and the Mark 5 on the larger ones.

Just my opinion
