Longrange Shooting Platform

    My excellent longrange shooting platform. It's mobile and steady enough that I might install a permanent one.

    Pics must have been taken on different days? Dusty in one, shiny in the other?

    Looks really good. I notice all the necessary stuff to make the shot. I like the shooting angle.....

    How about some info on the rifle....

    NIce set up, what kind of mount is your spotting scope on.

    Roy, it's the camera angle. It was taken the same day. The rifle is Nate's SSG 338 Lapua Ackley improved.

    It's a grip action ballhead and carbon fiber tripod by Dynatran. Made almost like the Manfrotto but a bit cheaper.

    Nice rig , I'd be leary bout firing that thing to close to the back glass I know a guy that broke his windshield shooting a 300 win mag with a Browning Boss on it off the front hood.

    What are you shooting out of that thing , what loads and at what speed?
