Greetings from Norway.

I am currently in the process of acquiring a long range rifle.

The Rifle will be used for target shooting at ranges up to 1200 yards.
The platform ive decided to use is a Tikka T3 Super Varmint in a GRS long range chassis
and a S&B PM II 4-16x50.

I am seeking advide on which caliber i should choose for the rifle.
The calibers being considered are:

.270 WSM
.300 WSM
6.5x55mm Swedish

(I am reloading my own ammunition, so availability is not an issue).

No advice, just some facts. With a 200 zero
270 WSM
150 Berger VLD BC .531
3000 fps MV
At 1200 yards there is about 450 +/- inches of drop

300 WSM
185 Berger VLD BC .549
2900 fps MV
At 1200 yards there is about 470+/- inches of drop

Not much difference, tough call.

How did you come to pick these three calibers/
