I had this barrel chambered and installed on a trued rem 700 action about 14 years ago. There has been exactly 398 rounds down the barrel. I lost two brass so only worked up 98 at a time after the initial 100 fireformed lapua brass. Its a #4 contour fluted in 1-14 twist, I think its right at 23" long. Its been chambered in .223AI and threaded for a rem 700. Its a good shooter producing .75" groups and I did manage several .5" groups and the rifle was pretty light when all complete and only ever using a 10 power max scope on the bench. I never did any real extensive load workup, mainly Hornady and Nosler 50gr ballistic tips over H335 in lapua brass. Velocities were around 3550fps. I kept it fairly modest never hot rodding the loads. I imagine experimenting with some different powders and bullets someone could really find some sweet loads for this barrel when fitted to a good action, it has good potential. Its been sitting in my safe for a while and could probably stand to be bead blasted again or cerakoted. Its in good shape but was used on a hunting rifle for a number of years. I used this on my calling rifle and ended up going to a different setup for coyotes. I kept it thinking someday I would screw it onto another action and use it as a light varminter for chucks and squirrels. But I don't think that's ever going to happen. Looking for 280 shipped TYD.

I will throw in all the fireformed brass and ammo I have for this. 96 lapua brass and around 80-100 Hornady brass.
