Lapua magnum to Ackley Improved, help

I have a .338 LM that I am thinking of converting to an AI.
Does this involve cutting back the barrel or can you just run the AI reamers into the LM chamber?

you might get away with just running the reamer into your chamber. If not you would have to cut the threads off and chamber I have a 338 Nawakwa reamer (lapua imp) and could do the chamber for you.
