Ladder Test Results & \"Sweet Spot\" Question.

FOr those who have experimented with the ladder system. How effective is it for finding the most accurate load for a particular bullet, powder, case, primer and OAL recipe? Also, how do you determine which shot in the group is the "sweet spot" load? I was introduced to this system of load development for the first time thanks to the expertise of the members of this site! Thanks!

Re: Ladder Test Results & \"Sweet Spot\" Question.

youre looking for a small vertical deviation combined with low ES on velocities, as well as windage that is not much more than whats expected from the wind youre shooting in.
Basically, stacking sequential bullets on the amount of vertical, with low velocity changes.
Very effective...
