If you don't shoot three shot groups at each powder charge how do you know you didn't pull the shot?

The ladder is your first step. I put a small dot 1-2" for 300 yds. Aim small.
Then go to 3 or more shot groups working with the nodes you found in the ladder.
Maybe you "pull one" in the ladder. But, you should also have known it and made a note of it for record. It happens....
