Lerch and I are headed to MO for their first 1000 yd BR match Sat. There are 2 matches in both the light and heavy gun for a total of 4 matches. We are going to shoot the same rifles in all matches. How many rounds do we need to take???

That seems to be the consensus; 100-125 rounds.

I am taking my 6-250 that Kirby built and Steve is taking his Cooper 6BR.

We've been out and shot a couple of times over the past week. Steve just got his Cooper going good and settled on load that printed a 1" group @ 400 yds. My little 6-250 has printed 3, 5 shot 1000 yd groups right @ to just under 7" and one that was about 12". I was pretty happy considering the stinkin' wind was blowing 10-15 MPH everytime we've been out.

Wow, thats small groups. Specially with those light bullets, I think.
I have seen those light 6mm's been taken badly by the wind sometimes.
I had a try on 1200m, with my 6,5-06. I had to turn 10 MOA into the wind that day, with 140grs A-max @ 910m/s.
I guess the 6mm's would have had to turn even more that day.
