I put my 6-24 burris on my new ruger hawkeye and dont have enough right adj. With full right it still shoots 6 inches left at a 100. Puting a straight edge on the reciever it appears that the barrel angles left of straight. Anyone got any ideas?? I have the rings ruger sent with the gun and the mounts are partof the action.:)

I'm not sure what type of mount is on your ruger . but Burris makes the scope rings with the plastic insert that you can put your scope back to optical center and dial the bushing in the scope ring to get you close to center . here is a link . Jim

Burris Signature Rings

Don't be too surprised if you continue to have problems with the rifle after getting the scope aligned with the barrel------if the barrel really is installed at an angle, the fun is just beginning.

I would suggest a call to Ruger.........
