Does anyone have any experience with loading Hammer bullets at reduced velocities?
Any accuracy issues? Performance on game at 1800-2200 fps? Say 200 yards max.
I know it goes against the theory of run them fast, but I would like to load some reduced loads for my wife/son and in a few SBR's.
I'm loading my 16" bolt action 300 blk with 101gr at about 2400fps mv(have to double check my notes, max load of H110). Got one whitetail last year about 50 yards and had good results with it. I also have a 12" 6.5 grendel that I plan on loading the 85gr along with the reduced loads in a lightweight 7mm-08.
