I bought the little Adai tripod with mini ballhead off Amazon. It is no longer listed, but there are tons of other ones on there.

I also purchased a different tripod after the little short one that comes with the Garmin tipped over with some muzzle brake blast. I found this case too that the whole thing fits into that works well for storing it.
