Just finished up a couple of ultramags. The ACU colored digital is a CRAZY accurate 300 ultra. It uses a Lawton singleshot action, Hart barrel, rifle basix trigger, Pacific Tool and Gauge bolt with holland bolt handle(both Oregon companies), and one of my muzzle brakes. This gun is responsible for my best bipod group ever. 5 shots at 550 that measured 1.6". The Darker one of the two is my own personal 7 ultramag. It is just a blueprinted remington 700 with PTG bolt and my own custom bolt handle. Jewell trigger with safety, Night force scope, badger base and rings, Bartlien barrel, HS precision PS-26 stock with HS detachable magazine. Oh yeah and one of my muzzlebrakes too. I did the paint(duracoat) jobs on both of them. I lean twords darker colors and the owner of the other wanted something that would match the sage over east better. Both rifles have been responsible for some recyclable kills(milk jugs) at 1500. The 7 hit a 5 foot rock first round at 2300 yds this weekend. To make it better I ranged it with the reticle in the scope, using minute of agle calculations because I dont have a rangefinder that goes that far! I included a picture of a 308 I did earlier this year in an Accuracy International chasis and my wirehair pup(where her wires are I dont know?) The last one is a picture of a friend lined up at a 550 with the 308. Thanks for looking guys!

Jason,

Now that you've finished those two nice pieces you should have a lot of free time on your hands... for mowing the lawn and other such chores???:D
What do you use as refferance when ranging rocks with the reticle?
